I just wanted to get in a quick post and say Merry Christmas to you all! I hope that you are all doing well and spending this glorious day with loved ones. Yesterday, my kiddo's were nagging me about why they couldn't open their presents before we went to church today. However; after explaining that we are celebrating Jesus' birthday and that we need to take a step back and be thankful for what we are blessed with - they understood. Sometimes people get so caught up with the materialistic things in life that we really don't appreciate what we have. Love. Good Health. Family. Friends. Each other. That is truly the greatest gift and I'm thankful for everyone and all of the experiences, heartaches, and blessings that life has brought me. My kiddo's are all loving, caring, and thoughtful - but they need to be reminded from time to time that materialistic things aren't the most important things in life and to really appreciate what they already have and what they are blessed with.
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
